Sam Smartt

Sam Smartt
A lifelong resident of Lookout Mountain, TN, Sam Smartt is an elder at Lookout Mountain Presbyterian Church (PCA), a longtime supporter of Covenant College, and a member of the Covenant College Foundation board of trustees. He is also a member of the Heritage Society and serves on the advancement committee of the Foundation board. Sam recently recorded our second in a series of podcasts about the importance of an endowment, where he said, "Endowment is the key [for the College] because you want to attract and retain the best teachers—that costs money—and keep the tuition as low as possible so that virtually everybody that wants a Christian education can have it, [and so] they aren't denied it because of cost."
